vintage valentines

vintage disneyland

As promised, here are a few vintage elements I noticed while at Disneyland!

The first three photos were from inside Mickey's actual clubhouse!

 And the rest are not true vintage, but, vintage inspired.  I really loved this vintage style tree!

the GREATS

One of the highlights of our vacation was that Oliver's GREAT-grandparents flew in from Iowa to be there for Norah's 1st birthday party.  And, Oliver's aunt Nancy and uncle Bob were in town as well working on their new home.  It was so great to all be together!

Norah + Disneyland

We recently got home from a nice long vacation.  We started out in Phoenix, visiting my sweet little niece, Norah.  She just turned one and Oliver had a blast with her (and a wee bit of jealousy).

Norah likes to dance, so Ollie decided to join in!

We miss you already Norah!  I HATE that we're not closer... it just isn't fair.  :(

The next part of our trip was at Disneyland!  Oliver has been a few times but this was definitely the funnest!  Now that he is taller we got to do a lot more rides!  The best part though was meeting all of the characters.

Duffy Bear (Mickey's teddy bear) was Oliver's favorite!

Donald was very silly... he shook his tail at Ollie!

And, we finished off the trip at Legoland and San Diego.

Oliver was afraid of the beach, no idea why??  He did have fun collecting sea shells in the sand though and took one for each of his classmates at school.  His stuffed dog, Mackie, also had fun making sand angels!

Such a great vacation!  I was happy to spot some vintage elements at Disney and I will share them in another post soon!
